The other day, when we were all excited and hanging things on the walls, my hubby had a wonderful idea. There was a boring and unused mirror that was perfect for our 1st floor bathroom. It had been longing for a new life and there it was, so simple, with 2 layers of black matte paint. I was soooo happy to do this and it really works well in the space.

 

My first day

It's a new year and I'm full of resolutions. One of them is being abble to blog frequently. So here is my 2010 attempt at it.
I had great holidays. Got some time to unpack some boxes even though we moved back into our newly renovated house many weeks ago. With the family and all, I found myself a bit busy or tired to do everything  quickly. Since we had some space this year, I had decided on inviting our families over for Christmas. This triggered my need to have a house that looked a bit more finished, so my hubby and I  hung up some at on the walls, went for a few Ikea and Home Depot trips to get a few more things. We now really enjoy our home.
Then, my mum and  I cooked a bit some tourtières for the holidays and after. That took a whole day... It was great, having some time to cook and talk with her.
